John has over 15 years of experience in sport specific training in addition to his distinguished collegiate, international and professional ice hockey career. John spent his formative years training, studying and working with renowned strength and conditioning coach Mike Boyle, who is the strength and conditioning coach for Boston University, The Boston Bruins and the Men and Women's US National Teams.

In addition, John was captain of the US Developmental Hockey Team, US World Junior Hockey Team and Boston University Hockey Team. He employed strength, speed and power training to excel and reach his maximum potential. "All successes in my hockey career came from speed and power training," adds John. "The sports specific program that I have developed will get you stronger and faster for competition at the highest levels."

Frank Mingone

Director of Training/Partner

Frank grew up in White Plains NY, an area with very few rinks, so he relied heavily on off ice training to get him to the next level.  This paid off at a young age when he was selected to play for the Peewee Rangers in the Quebec International Tournament. He attended Rye Country Day School for 3 years before moving on to play juniors for the Connecticut Clippers (now the Jr Wolfpack) who won bronze at nationals in their very first year. As a member of the league’s all-star team he played against top USHL teams and the prestigious Shattuck St Mary’s team. Frank was the captain of the hockey team at Salve Regina University where he led the team on the ice and in the gym.

Coach Frank’s training program is for athletes looking to better their game and make it to the next level. His sport performance system is a unique blend of speed, agility, and power that is safe for athletes of all ages. Every session focuses on core strength, stamina and conditioning. Frank’s workout encourages stretching and injury prevention as a key to creating a more efficient athlete.
